From the moment a host steps onstage they are setting the tone and pace of the comedy show we are about to see. Hosting is an integral part of the live comedy world whether you perform stand-up, improv, or sketch, and leaves a lasting first impression with the audience that can either work in your show's favor or make the night a harder go. Learn to grab the audience's attention by setting an energetic tone and pace, why body language matters and how to keep things fun and engaging when you're hosting a comedy show. You aren’t fighting for the audience's love and attention, they’re there to see you succeed, so set yourself up for success from the moment you step on stage and have more fun hosting your comedy events.
