This workshop is dedicated to trying and exploring how to embrace tension and engage yourself better in the scene with more impact. Also, to understand how patterns and repetitions develop and play their role in this context. Eventually, we will focus on using all these aspects to improvise thoroughly engaging scenes with better awareness.
We will explore how tension is different from conflict and how both play their part and for how long they really impact the relations between the characters.
We will utilize my FLOP technique- Faith, Listening, Observation, and Pauses, alongside breathwork techniques to enhance our engagement with the process. Participants will be on their feet for most of the workshop, rotating partners throughout the exercises and scenes.
