Miguel is a Spanish improviser who started improvising in 2019 in Barcelona with Jamming Barcelona. He fell in love with improv and complemented his Spanish training with his English training at BIG, attending several courses per week and performing both in Spanish and English.
He has trained and performed in many festivals around the world and is constantly looking for new stages to play on and new people to play with. Currently, Miguel improvises biweekly with La Casa de La Impro, hosting a show that consists of a jam and a long-form. Their own challenge is to bring to Barcelona a different new long-form every two weeks.
He also performs a monthly free-form show with Helix and teaches improv regularly at BIG (Barcelona).
Miguel loves finding the connection between players and creating captivating stories together. He has a supportive style of teaching based on letting the students find their own personal style of improvising.
This workshop is suitable for improvisers who are comfortable with scene work and transitions.
