Two-people scenes are the best way to get in connection with your scene partner and create truthful, meaningful stories both in comedy and drama.
When we are in a two-people scene we listen more and we observe everything, making every little thing important; that’s why usually they bring out the best in each performer. Not having time to stay outside and think too much about “what should happen next”, we find a deep level of connection and more instinctive reactions, and we take the concept of staying in the moment to a completely new level.
I am a professional improviser, director, author, and actor from Italy, currently based in Belgium, where I am the founder and Artistic Director of Impro Brussels and the Brussels Shuffle, respectively Belgium’s largest English-speaking Improv school and Brussels’ first international anglophone Improv Festival.
My Improv journey started in Italy in 2006, alongside my studies in writing and storytelling, and it has since become my full-time profession. After working all around Italy, in 2017 I moved to Brussels.
My storytelling, directing, and writing background help me develop improv tools in areas like narrative, characters, and improvising in different genres. Over the years, I trained improvisers from their first years in the craft to their professional formats, to mentoring them in their journey to becoming teachers themselves.
Suitable for improvisers with basic experience.
