WHAT IS IMPROV?

Improv, or improvisational theatre, is the unscripted form of live performance. Improv is called a performing art for everyone: reflective yet playful, physical yet logical. It’s about creating stories, characters, and situations collaboratively and spontaneously, right in the moment. Its core lays in the foundation of connection and creativity, embracing change with flexibility and ease.

ABOUT IMPROV 101

This course is an introduction to a mindset, a way of thinking and living that empowers you to trust yourself and collaborate effortlessly with those around you. You will explore:

• THINK ON YOUR FEET: Through guided step-by-step exercises, expand your comfort zone and discover confidence in unexpected situations.

• LISTENING AND CONNECTION SKILLS: Strengthen your ability to truly listen, respond, and connect, which will enrich both your everyday communication and your improv scenes.

• UNLOCK YOUR CREATIVITY: Let go of hesitation and self-judgment, and rediscover the joy of playing, exploring, and expressing yourself with honesty and freedom.

This course is specially designed for beginners, providing a safe and supportive space to experiment, discover, and learn. You don’t need any theatre background or to consider yourself “creative”. All you need to bring is yourself, and from there you’ll uncover a version of you that’s more capable and full of potential than you ever realized.
