VIF25 welcomes improvisers from all walks of life, and we value kindness, inclusion, and respect.
Treat every performer, audience member, and volunteer (yourself included) with kindness. Listen, include, and uplift. Every person, every story, every perspective matters—onstage and off.
Improv starts with connection, and great improv starts with trust. Whether it’s physical contact, sensitive topics, or personal space, always check in, listen, and be aware of each other’s boundaries. If someone says no or seems uncomfortable, respect it—no questions asked.
Consent is key.
We’re here to celebrate. Improv should never come at the cost of someone’s dignity.
No hate, no harm, no punching down—just bold, brilliant, and playful collaboration. Make choices that bring joy to everyone in the room.
If something doesn’t feel right, let us know. Tell a festival team member—we’re here to help. Together, we keep VIF25 a place where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.
