If improv is supposed to be spontaneous, why is it so tempting to plan your scenes? And what happens when your plans don’t go the way you’d envisioned?
As anyone who’s encountered a chaos gremlin can attest to, predicting how an improv scene will turn out is often a moot exercise. But there are ways to prepare yourself for the unexpected!
This workshop focuses on principles and exercises to engage with your scenework organically. If you’ve ever wanted to start a scene from scratch and support it all the way through, this is the class for you!
Participants should be comfortable initiating and developing scenes.
