The Harold is a timeless long-form improv format that has inspired some of the greatest comedic minds of our time. A challenging form that weaves various approaches to scene work, edits, and group play together to create a show where ideas and characters collide in an epic grand finale.
In this full-day intensive, we will cover all the components that make up a Harold, with a focus on setting a tone and pace at the top of our Harolds that carry through to the rest of our show. Learn base scenes, second and third beats, group games, and energetic openings that will have audiences coming back for more, and take a deep dive into this influential form that is the backbone of all long-form improv formats.
