"FALL IN LOVE" WITH IMPROV AND WANT TO DIVE DEEPER?

After learning the basics at IMPROV 101 (level ★), improvisers can sharpen their 3 essential skillsets through 3 level ★★ classes at The Improv Hub: space & physicality (ARCHITECTURE OF THE SCENE), logic of building scenes (MECHANICS OF THE SCENE), and emotional connections (HEARTBEAT OF THE SCENE).

You can take these courses in any order. The 3 programs are designed independently, allowing you to proactively train each skillset to boost your fluency in improv while discovering deeper applications for everyday life.

Each course is available in equivalent Vietnamese and English versions, giving you the freedom to explore yourself through different linguistic lenses.

MECHANICS OF THE SCENE - TURNING IDEAS INTO SCENES WITH SHAPE

Strong improv scenes need solid cores and flows. MECHANICS OF THE SCENE is designed to give you the structural tools to turn spontaneous ideas into coherent set of scenes, with a sense of feeling relatable, grounded, clear, and effortlessly progressive.

As an improviser, you will sharpen your ability to find the premise, spot patterns, subtly communicate about your ideas in character, and together, build those ideas into marvelous stories.

And beyond the stage, you may find this course helpful for agility, giving you useful tools to process information, adapt to shifting dynamic situations, and handle problems with confidence.

Designed with our community in mind, this course was created by Lê Kim Thanh, founder of The Improv Hub, drawing on 10 years of learning, teaching and performing across 10+ countries in Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
